Often we are able to repair Alarm Systems without the need to replace the existing main control panel. It could be the case that you only have a faulty sensor on a window or door which is causing false alarms. If this is the case, you may only be looking at a service and replacement of the faulty sensor.
If you are unable to set the alarm because of an open zone fault, you may have a faulty sensor somewhere in the system. In this case the system thinks a window or door is open even though it isn't. It may be possible to replace a faulty sensor and solve the problem. Another problem maybe due to a dodgy sensor is false alarming. This can be solved by identifying and replacing the sensor.
After 3 years the typical backup battery in a system will be very low or completely flat. In this case we will replace it and also give the system a full service.
If you have an existing system that isn't working anymore and is now obsolete due to age, you may only need a new control panel and keypad. This is because the sensors and sirens/strobe light are still fine. This is the most cost effective way to get that old alarm up and running again.
We will remove the old alarm control panel and keypad and replace it with a new one.
We will also connect back the motion detectors and alarm sirens/bells and get the whole alarm system up and running again. The new control panel and keypad will immediately be able to diagnose any other problems, unlike the old one. Beware of some companies who will tell you that you need everything replaced and give a price that runs into thousands.
In the case the siren outside your house doesn't ring anymore, this can often be caused by rust. We will fix the siren if possible or replace it if required.
It’s important to keep your alarm system in good working order. You don`t want to be woken up at 2 in the morning with an alarm that you can`t stop. Very annoying indeed
